18 days remain until Mr. Claus jumps down our chimney, so we decided now would be the perfect time to discuss decorating your home for Christmas. (We are aware a lot of you will have your tree up by now however, if like me nothing is ever done on time, this article could come in handy!) So here are our top tips!

  1. Christmas decorations are typically red, green maybe throw in a little gold? But this year why not try something a little different; you can still be festive and unique! Try purple and gold or blue and silver. Use your current décor as inspiration.
  2. Bring a little outdoors indoors. Pine cones make a wonderful addition to any Christmas arrangement, and add a lovely rustic element to a wholesome Christmas feel.
  3. Get the kids involved! The Christmas season is all about children so why not get them involved in decorating your home. Use papier-Mache and a little bit of glitter to revive some old baubles for the tree. Make your fridge a snowman, this super-easy super cute idea is bound to give your little ones a big smile!
  4. When it comes to wrapping present this sentimental added touch is sure to go down well with the family. Instead of using name tags, pop a photo of the recipient on their present instead.
  5. The candy cane is such a recognisable Christmas symbol why not put it to good use. Hang them above your windows for a quirky little decoration.
  6. Our final Christmas tip is to enjoy decorating your tree and your home! Put Mariah, Slade and Shaking Stevens on the docking station, the egg nog flowing and let the Christmas spirit overtake you.

Merry Christmas Everybody!!!
