What to do in an emergency

An emergency is something that you could not predict which is likely to cause significant damage to the property.

This could include things such as:

  • Having no electric or light  (please check there isn’t a power cut in the area Home Page | Northern Powergrid)
  • Blockage of your only toilet
  • Having no heating or hot water
  • Broken windows or doors following a break in

In the event you suspect a gas leak or can smell gas in your property:

You must call the National gas Emergency service immediately on 0800 111 999.

Is your landlord in a fully managed contract with us?

If your landlord is in a fully managed contract with us, please contact the lettings office on 01207 262 111. If your emergency has occurred outside of office hours, please contact us on the number above which will give the emergency phone line.

If your landlord is on a tenant find only contract with us, please contact your landlord directly to arrange any repairs or maintenance work.

Our opening times:

Monday – Friday             9:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday                           9:00am – 12:00pm

Sunday                              Closed

Please be aware, if a contractor is called out and the situation is not deemed an emergency, you will be liable to cover all costs.
